There are different types of leadership. Here are four different types: bureaucratic democratic, laissez, and autocratic. Autocratic is a type where the boss is in charge. They control how everything is done. The employee’s don’t have any input whatsoever. Bureaucratic is where the manager goes by the book. Everything is done by the book and if it’s not it isn’t right. Democratic is where the employee’s are encouraged to participate in the decision making process. It can produce high quality and quantity skill for a long time. Laissez is when pretty much the manager does nothing and gives all the work to the employee’s. They have complete freedom and are on their own to make goals and decisions.
I decided to compare democratic and autocratic. Autocratic is a no freedom leadership meaning they can’t just do what they want when they want they are told what to do and they do it then and there. They aren’t informed about anything and their opinion on things doesn’t matter. The employee’s don’t get a say in decision making. Where democratic they encourage the employee’s to be involved. Democratic leaders keep their employee’s informed about everything that affects their work.
The one I think would be best for me would be democratic. I think this because although I like to be in charge I want other people involved and helping. That way you can make more people happy. Also if I was an employee of a democratic leader I would want to be involved in deciding things and I would want to know.
